ATFD units were dispatched for a dwelling fire on the 800 block of Jenkintown Rd.
Engine 200 arrived onlocation and reported a working fire. CH-200 established command and put multiple lines in service. Fire was extending up to the roof above the 3rd floor (rear of the building).
Units were released and STA200 cleared approx. 1.5h into the incident.

Abington Fire Company was dispatched, along with several other companies, to a report of a house fire. Police arrived on scene and stated heavy smoke was coming from the house. Chief 100 arrived on scene and advised of a working basement fire. Companies arrived and made quick work of the fire, containing it to a portion of the basement. After the fire was controlled and crews checked to ensure no spread, companies began making themselves available. Crews were on scene for roughly an hour and a half.

Stations 3, 5, 2, 200, and 4 were dispatched on the original assignment for a dwelling fire on the 7300 block of Oak Ave. Chief-5 arrived onlocation and reported a 3-story twin, heavy fire showing first floor, extending to the second. The CTFD Confirmed procedures went out and a 2nd Alarm was struck. Companies remained in service for an extended period of time to assist with overhaul. R300 was on the 2nd Alarm assignment.
Station 2 was dispatched for smoke in the area around 0635h. E2 reported heavy smoke showing from the second floor of a three story building. Chief 2 went in command and requested additional units to the scene, reporting heavy fire showing from the second division of an unoccupied school. Command reported fire through the roof, defensive ops only.
AIR300 responded on the Cascade and Engine 302 assisted in defensive operations.
The Abington Township Working Fire Dispatch went out at 19:54H on 02/28/15. LT300 reported a fully involved 2-story single family dwelling. Stations 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 96&16, 1, and Second Alarmers responded to the blaze.
Dwelling fire reported at the corner of Geneva avenue and Elk street. Units arrived with smoke showing from the second floor.
